We all face trials in life, how we deal with them is what determines our character. Are we patient, trying to control or change the situation on our own or do we trust in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Many things in life we have no control over, but Jesus sees the big picture, He sees our heart and knows what is best for us. None of us truly know what is really right for us as we only see a small portion of what can happen. I'm learning to turn it all over to the Lord, as it really is out of my control. He knows what is best for me and will not let harm come to me.

Each day I am growing in my faith in the Lord. It is amazing to see the changes He has made in me, where He has taken me from and where He is taking me to. I am going to enjoy the journey regardless of the trials and circumstances I face, as they help me to grow and mature.

I signed onto Blogspot almost a year ago to stay connected with former high school classmates as our "Big" reunion was approaching. Today I realized that this is a place where I can publish my thoughts, or how I'm feeling or just about anything. I am a woman who has a strong faith and belief in Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I know that He is with me always. I've learned that when I face trials in life that is when I lean on Him the most, but it is even during the times that everything seems to be going well that I need to call on Him. I must remember that I can do nothing on my own. It is only with Him that I can succeed.
